To all the dear Bowes...so sorry I am so late to learn of your mom dying...we were backyard neighbours. As a child I was invited to look after the Bowes's dog, Sapango...I loved that dog and your mom and dad too! The few times I babysat Donna and Doug were so much fun and your parents were so good to me as the babysitter of their kids. The Bowes were such great neighbours. I was so sad when they had to move and now they are no longer here but, I believe, in spirit still. My sympathy and a hug to all of you and I share these few memories as it was such a delight to have your parents as neighbours... Take care. Sincerely, Bonnie Makodanski - Posted by: Bonnie Makodanski (Neighbour) on: Nov 18, 2015

My sympanthies to everyone in the family. Although I never had the honour of meeting or knowing Verna, my mother, Leda Reilly spoke often of her and the fun times she had when visiting Bernice and Verna in Winnipeg. I am very sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Betty Smith (Distant cousin) on: Jan 03, 2015
