RICHARD CHODY It is with great sadness that we announce the very sudden passing of Richard Chody on December 26, 2014 at the age of 67 years. He was predeceased by his mother Emma in 2009 and his father Marcel in 1983. Richard will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 46 years, Dianne; his daughter Lisa, son-in-law Mark and grandchildren Lucas and Kyla; and his son Curtis, daughter-in-law Jill, and grandchildren Corban, Garnet and Porter. He also leaves behind his brother Darryl, sister-in-law Kathy, and nephews Jason and Kevin and their families. Richard will also be missed by many friends, including his special buddy Joey, who is already lost without him. As per Richard's wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. "So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart...for every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart."

He was the epitome of a brave person, who never game up and fought until the end - all with the help of his Angel here on earth, his wonderful wife Dianne. Richard was truly a hero and whenever I did get to see him, he was always so nice to me and I will always remember him as one of my favourite dancing partners.
