Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • My deepest condolences to the Wach family. I was a classmate with Barry and Ed at Walter White School. - Posted by: Les Franklin () on: Jan 05, 2015

  • Dear Helen, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. I am the second daughter of the late Peter and Julia Krawchuk. I would like to recall the last time I saw you and your wonderful family at Grand Beach at least 35 years ago. Many years later, I attended Bernice's funeral. Because you were living outside of Manitoba, our visits were far and few between. I was Phyllis and Lloyd's little flower girl when I was seven and remember that day like it was yesterday. We knew your late sister Bernice and late husband Emil as well as Cecilia and Harry. We are so sorry to hear of Maryon's passing and wish to extend our sincere sympathy to you and all your family members. "A Prayer of Sympathy and Faith: In the love of God, may you find strength and peace. In the prayers of friends, may you find comfort and love." Much love -- Cousin Valerie and Tony - Posted by: Valerie (nee Krawchuk) and Tony Kent (Cousins) on: Jan 05, 2015

  • I remember visiting Maryon's farm at Grand Marais when I was a boy of no mare than 10 or twelve years old. It was a rainy spring day and the ground was so soft that our car broke through the grass when my dad was turning the car around, got stuck leaving a couple of ugly ruts in an otherwise flawless lawn. I also remember that Maryon and other family members from Grand Marais and Thunder Bay Ontario (known as Port Arthur or Fort William back then, 1960's), visited our family in Inwood Manitoba on various occasions. Although I didn't know Maryon very well, I would like to offer my condolences to his family, friends and those that will truly miss Maryon's presence. May God Bless you all. - Posted by: Edward Ogloza (His mother was my aunt. (cousin)) on: Dec 31, 2014
