Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAFAEL GONZALEZ On December 29, 2014 at the Victoria Hospital, Rafael passed away at the age of 89 years. Rafael leaves to mourn his children Gloria (Nick), Mike (Theresa) and Ralph (Lori); grandchildren Giselle (Mike), Darryl, Alex, Brandi and Holly (Dan) as well as great-grandchildren Enzo, Noel and Eliana. He was predeceased by his wife Francisca, parents Manuel and Elena. Prayers will be said on Sunday, January 4 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 5 at 10:00 a.m. also at Cropo. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. Pallbearers will be Mike Gonzalez, Ralph Gonzalez, Nick Delagua, Darryl Delagua, Alex Gonzalez and Jim Haslam. CROPO 204-586-8044

Hello, I recently came across Rafael’s obituary while searching online after learning that my great-grandfather had a brother who emigrated to Canada. After confirming with my father, I discovered that Rafael was my grandfather Manuel’s uncle. I’m reaching out as a distant relative—I’m from Gibraltar, where Rafael was originally from.
