Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARLENE ANTONETTE BOITSON (nee WESLEY) September 13, 1946 - December 26, 2014 Darlene, dearly beloved and longtime partner of John Keryluk, passed away at the Sarcee Hospice on Boxing Day at the age of 68 years after a two year battle with breast cancer. She will be sadly missed by her son Barrett (Sharon), and her loving granddaughter Zoe. She is also survived by her daughter and family. Darlene worked for many years as a teacher's assistant in the Catholic school system, finally retiring in 2011 from Bishop Kidd school. She was also a faithful member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was a devoted grandmother who especially loved her road trips through the mountains and to the lakeside of her beloved hometown Gimli. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary or to a charity of your choice. In respect of Darlene's wishes, there will be no public service. Instead, a private gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date. In living memory of Darlene, a tree will be planted at the Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
