LORNE WILFRED FROST January 4, 1929 - December 28, 2014 Lorne passed away peacefully at the Concordia Hospital with his son Greg and daughter Sharon by his side. He was predeceased by his father Edgar, mother Winnifred, brothers Edgar, Leslie, Benny, infant Jack, Harold and Charlie; sisters, Josie, Elsie, Louis, Lindy and Myrtle; and two granddaughters, Natalie Karol (1982) and Danielle Lupel (2014). Left to mourn his passing are sisters Hazel Isfeld and Lillian Barkey; daughters, Sharon Karol (Richard), Susie, Judy and Wendy (Jonathan); sons, Lorne (Gloria), Stanley (Tracy), Robbie and Greg; sisters-in-law Dairdrie and Lorraine; children's mother and friend Judy Sanderson, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends especially good friend Lorry Monkman. Lorne worked at Silica Sand, Black Island, Purvis in the North and numerous other jobs on Lake Winnipeg as a mechanic. He loved to go to Tim Hortons for his morning and afternoon tea. Lorne also enjoyed going to A&W, driving around and working on cars. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, Manitoba.
