LUCILLE RIVARD (née GAGNE) It is with great sadness that after a valiant battle with multiple cancers, surrounded by her family, we announce the passing of our dear Lucille on December 31, 2014. Lucille was born in St. Pierre-Jolys, MB on September 19, 1949, where she spent most of her childhood and married life and lovingly raised her family with Raynald (Rivets). Lucille loved reading, golfing, travelling. She especially loved the years spent camping in Warren, MN and the winters spent in Yuma, AZ after retiring in 2002. Lucille will always be cherished and remembered by her devoted husband Raynald, her two loving children, Shelley (Milo) and Kevin (Venice) and her four dear grandchildren Nicholas, Scott, Tyson and Haley. Lucille also leaves behind her brothers Raymond (Anita) and Miguel, her mother-in-law Marie-Paule, all the Rivard family, many nephews and nieces, as well as cousins on both sides of the Préfontaine and Gagné family. Lucille was predeceased by her father Léon, her mother Edmée, her brother Jean-Pierre, her sister Yvette (Bill) and her father-in-law Olivier. Our heartfelt gratitude is extended to all who have prayed for and cared for Lucille since her first bout with multiple myeloma in 2007. Thank you so much to Dr. Mairi Burnett, Dr. Karen Toews, Steinbach CancerCare, all the staff of the Centre Médico Social De Salaberry, and the numerous home care attendants. Your human and gentle touch was truly appreciated. Thank you to all our friends who supported us. Funeral services will be held at the St. Pierre Bible Fellowship Church on January 5, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Denver Kroeker and L'Abbé Patrice officiating. Interment to follow at St. Pierre cemetery. To honour Lucille's memory, donations may be made to La Fondation Centre Médico Social De Salaberry.
