Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • Bob & Faye were good friends with my Mom & Dad (Pauline and Maurice Hnatiuk) and we enjoyed their visits with the girls. Faye was fun and full of energy and even though it has been many, many years since they last saw each other, my Mom was very saddened to hear of Faye's passing. Please accept our sincere sympathies. - Posted by: Theresa Hunter (nee Hnatiuk) (Family friend) on: Jan 11, 2015

  • Baba Faye showed unconditional love to all her family members and friends and when I married her grandson I gained a wonderful, doting and caring grandmother. She is the only grandmother I have ever known and I will miss her smile, her kisses and hugs, her cooking and spoiling of her great-grandson. I will miss my baba dropping by on a whim for a visit. I will miss visiting her home as it was my home too and I felt cherished there. Baba I love you. - Posted by: Lori Tessler (Granddaughter-in-law) on: Jan 09, 2015

  • My aunt was an exciting interesting and dynamic woman who cherished every day of her life. May G-d bless and keep her in the heavens. I will miss you and love you Zelda - Posted by: Zelda Young (Niece) on: Jan 04, 2015

  • Many childhood memories of going to Faye's house. As a true baba would she welcomed everyone with open arms and made sure you never left hungry. Always a listener and never one to judge harshly made her an elder to confide in. I will cherish the fond memories for a lifetime that are instilled in me by knowing her through my life long friend. Rest in peace Faye and know that you left a legacy of happiness while you were here with us all. - Posted by: Kevin minuk (Friend of Faye's grandson) on: Jan 04, 2015

  • Faye will be remembered by many and missed by many. I met Faye a couple years ago with my mother (Bernice hendin) who was a loving friend of hers and her family. She was a very friendly person with a kind heart. She loved her family dearly and my mother dearly as well. They all took in my mother as one of their own.
