• Condolences to family and friends. I had the honour of working with Roy while at WHRC, brilliant mind - committed to improving our city, who I was blessed to know and work with. • I provided Roy with administrative support for about 6 years before he retired. He was a challenge at times, but I could always approach him and tell him anything that needed to be said. Work aside, Roy was a friend and most often funny. My sincere condolences to his mother, Gwen, siblings and extended family. • Brilliant guy. Big ideas and he sure had a way of bringing them to life with a passion and enthusiasm that was infectious. Great story teller; he used to make me laugh out loud all the time. His baking would last a nano-second at the office, it was soooo good. He was a music enthusiast with an interest in diverse genres. Never forget heading to a meeting, cruisin' down Burrows, listening to rap in his Audi. Roy was a bundle of contradictions, but that's what made him so interesting. Gwyneth, though we never met, I know from our chats that he had mad love for you! My condolences to you and your family during your time of loss. Find strength in knowing that his legacy lives on in all of those people that benefited from his kindness, his intelligence, but more importantly, his vision and generosity in the affordable housing sector.
