  • Jean, Sorry to hear of Ron's passing. We missed you at the Retiree Reunion. I lost Russell on Dec 21, 2014. Life sure is different. Lost and lonely and trying to keep busy. So on behalf of the Retiree Group, our condolences. - Posted by: Kathrine Keselowsky (Co-ordinator for StandardAero Retirees) on: Jan 10, 2015

  • Though I never had the pleasure of knowing Ron (at least not that I remember), I would like to pass on my condolences on your loss. I couldn't help but notice the badge on his forage cap in the photo which looks very familiar. I too served in the Canadian Armed Forces, as a member of the RCCS. Ron's badge looks very much like the RCCS badge, but it also looks similar to the medical corps badge. As a Signalman, I served abroad under the auspices of the United Nations Emergency Force in both Egypt (1959) and the Belgian Congo (1962), and may have met Ron at some point. In any case, I salute Ron not only for his Military duties, but for being the kind and loving man you describe. May he rest in peace in the loving arms of Jesus, our eternal Savior. - Posted by: Gordon Giesbrecht (Unknown comrade in arms) on: Jan 07, 2015
