OLIVE MAY MCGLENEN It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Olive on January 5, 2015, at the Grace Hospital. Her memory will be cherished by her sons Craig (Sandra), Stephen (Marina) and grandchildren Fraser, Emily, Nicole and Katie. Olive was predeceased by her husband Edmund in 2008. Olive was born on April 18, 1919, in Ipswich, England. She came to Canada at the age of two and settled in Minnedosa, MB. After high school she moved to Winnipeg and started her retail career at Eaton's. Olive met and married Ed in 1946. They celebrated their 60th anniversary in 2006. She was a devoted wife and loving mother to her two boys. Her family and home were extremely important to her. Olive had a special relationship with her grandchildren and cherished the time and activities spent together. Olive and her family celebrated her 95th birthday in 2014. A life well lived. Olive's family wish to thank the staff at West Park Manor Personal Care Home for their great care and attention. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1101 - 191 Lombard Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3B 0X1. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
