THEODORE (Ted) MOSKAL It is with sadness and sorrow in my heart to announce the passing of my son, Theodore, on Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Toronto. Ted succumbed to cancer after battling the disease for several years. Theodore was born in Winnipeg on June 12, 1953, and grew up in East Kildonan where he attended Holy Eucharist Parish. He attended Polson Elementary School, Immaculate Heart of Mary School, and Red River College. Ted was employed as an electrician working in Winnipeg, Northern Ontario, and Toronto. Ted leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother Jean (nee Mirus); aunts Olga Land and Sophie Mokris; cousins Linda Teglas, Diane Baily, Marla Jonsson, Lynn Dodson, Julie Land, Glen Land, and Michael Mirus. Ted was predeceased by his father Walter, grandparents Mykita and Irene Moskal, grandparents Theodore and Ksenia Mirus; uncles William Land, Walter Mokris, and Michael Mirus Sr.; aunt Pauline Mirus; and cousin Darryl Land. A Service in Ted's memory will be held on Saturday, January 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, with Father Michael Kwiatkowski of Holy Eucharist Church officiating. A reception will take place after the service. Interment of Ashes will take place at All Saints Cemetery. A special thank you to Dr. Darlene Fenech of Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, for her compassion and care.
