Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES RICHARD BELMORE September 30, 1930 - January 6, 2015 Peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by his family. Jim is survived by his loving Sweetie, Tina; his stepchildren Dan Green (Ruth), Karen Green, Tracy Fiebelkorn (Randy), and Cheryl Morash (Randy); eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister June Nixon of Thunder Bay, Ontario, and brother Raymond Belmore of Edmonton. Jim was born in Armstrong, Ontario, one of 11 children. He was a man of many skills and proud of his heritage. Jim's grandfather was Chief of the Lac Seul First Nation in Ontario, and his mother the Princess. Jim was always a hard worker and held a variety of jobs from the age of 14. He retired from being an Industrial Mechanic in 1992, after 16 years at MRM. Jim and his Sweetie loved camping and travel. They travelled from Alaska to Mexico, Cape Breton to Vancouver Island. His interests included wood carving, bird watching, country music, photography, and always liked to have a project on the go. Many family members have mementos of his hobbies, that he made specially for them. He was very generous with his time and sharing his knowledge. According to Jim's wishes, there will be no service.
