CLIFFORD BLUE Peacefully with his family by his side, at Listowel Memorial Hospital, on Monday, January 5, 2015, Mr. Clifford David Blue, in his 83rd year. Left to mourn are his children Rick Blue of Eriksdale, MB, Donna (Earle) O'Neil of Listowel, ON, Ronda (Jeff) Wood of Edmonton, AB, and Ken (Janet) Blue of Winnipeg, MB, daughter-in-law Lorraine Blue of Winnipeg, MB, brother Ernie (Audrey) Blue, and sister Doris Penny, all of Winnipeg, MB, as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Elizabeth Blue, son Garry Blue, brothers Wilfred (Helen) Blue, Gordon (Shirley) Blue, and two great-grandchildren. Cliff (Papa) was born in Eriksdale, MB on September 20, 1932 but spent his time growing up in the Scotch Bay area, later moving to Winnipeg. For many years, he was a heavy equipment operator and later in life took a job working with horses, which was one of his many passions in life. Another of his greatest enjoyments in life was to travel around to rodeos in his old truck and camper with the polka party playing on the radio. He loved his fiddle tunes and loved to dance. Cliff also liked to spend his time hunting and fishing with his sons and family. Papa loved and teased all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was most famous for his sense of humour. He made a lot of friends along the way and will be missed by all who knew him. A private graveside service will be held in Scotch Bay, Manitoba at a later date.
