Passed away peacefully on December 31, 2014 at the age of 87. Predeceased by her loving husband Herbert married 49 years, and son Herbert John. She leaves to mourn her son Robert (Carol), grandchildren Julian (Liz) and Jennifer (Aaron). Also survived by Felicia Reedel, sister Runa Bjornson, brother Robert (Maggie Johnson), sister-in-law Alda Johnson and many relatives and friends in Manitoba and BC. A Celebration of Thordis' life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in First Memorial Burkeview Chapel, 1340 Dominion Ave., Port Coquitlam, BC. Lovingly remembered by my family & the many trips to Vancouver with my children- a tradition started by my dad when I was a child , to see his sister - we always got a Red Carpet welcome. I miss you, auntie, for so MANY things- I especially remember the tríp up mainland coast of BC, with my young children (she was in her 80s) in her little red sportscar, which SHE drove!
