Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMOHAN ANAND THAWANI August 4, 1960 - January 8, 2015 Mohan lived life. He was happiest when he was sharing food, wine, travel, movies or just time with his loved ones. His kind heart and generous spirit touched so many lives in so many different ways. Joni, Jeyna and Kresen, Tom and I were so very sorry to learn this past weekend of Mohan’s untimely passing 3 1/2 years ago. He was taken far too young, sometimes life is so unfair. We were reminiscing about Newmarket and started trying to look up some of the people we used to know, but had lost touch with. We were stunned when Mohan’s obituary turned up. Our thoughts and prayers have been with all of you since we found out. Right under the obituary was a link to the blog he wrote while he was ill. It sounds like you all made some amazing memories throughout that time, and what an incredible attitude he had! Hopefully time and those wonderful memories have helped ease your pain. Our sincere sympathy and best wishes, Joanne and Tom - Posted by: Joanne and Tom Hodson (Friends) on: Sep 17, 2019

I think Danielle & I would state that MOHAN was the epitamy of "love" life. Danielle and I have not been exposed to such an outpouring of love. What an experience that Mohan created. - Posted by: Danielle & Doug Fraser (Friend) on: Jan 17, 2015

Joni, condolences to you and your daughters on your loss. Mohan was my best friend in high school and early years of university. Even though since then we unfortunately had lost touch it was upsetting reading about his passing this morning. I still remember the first time we met leaving Kelvin high and getting on the Stafford bus. He was in an arm cast. From then all the sponge hockey games, hours playing stratomatic football, studying all nite getting ready for exams and on and on. We had many many wonderful years and how can you forget your late teens and early twenties. Please be strong as I know he will be missed. - Posted by: Reno Molinari (Best friend high school and university) on: Jan 13, 2015

Joni - just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you and your family and was so very sorry to hear that Mohan had finally lost his battle to cancer. Although I only met each of you on a handful of occasions, I have kept up with your trials and tribulations through our mutual friend Sue Patterson. Sue was lucky to have Mohan as her business partner and he never showed anything but wisdom and generosity. He will be missed. The world was a better place with him in it. I hope to see you with Sue again soon. I will be out of the country for the Memorial Service, so I wish you my condolences now. Take care of you and yours.
