Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALLEN JOSEPH GUIMOND September 25, 1957 - January 11, 2015 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, nephew and friend, Allen Joseph Guimond, who passed away with family by his side at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 57 years. Wake service is being held at Wilfred and Margaret Abraham's residence, HSE 248, North Shore, Sagkeeng First Nation, Manitoba, Monday, January 12, 2015 to Friday, January 16, 2015. Funeral service will be held at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Friday, January 16, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the Christ Church Anglican Cemetery. Allen is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Barb, his boys Wilfred and Byron and his hearts Joiee, Zander, and Tony, his sisters Carol and Claudette (Reinie), brother Eric (Eve), father and mother-in-law Wilfred and Margaret Abraham, aunts, uncles, in-laws, stepbrothers and stepsisters of the Twoheart Family, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Lorna Rose and J.B. Guimond, sister Marlene, grandchildren Byron Jr. and William James Malcolm, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Allen worked for Sagkeeng for numerous years as a labourer and the last five years with Natural Resources. He loved to laugh and joke, he had a boisterous laugh that everyone knew. Allan loved baseball all his life, he played for Sagkeeng Aeros and North Stars, travelling to numerous baseball tournaments. He loved life and would help anyone who needed it. He lived for his wife Barb and grandchildren "his hearts." Family would like to thank Dr. Czaykowski of CancerCare, Seven Oaks Hospital Nephrology Clinic nurses and staff, and Dr. Elkhemri of Fort Alexander Health Centre. Allan was a true friend and never turned down a family member, he loved his bingo time.when ever we came down for a visit him and his wife would always offer their hospitality and supper.
