Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOUGLAS MCLEOD July 4, 1939 January 10, 2015 The family of Douglas McLeod is sad to announce his passing on Saturday, January 10 at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. He was predeceased by his parents Grace (Harrison) and Henry McLeod of Penobsquis, NB. He is survived by his sister Evlyn (late George) Flewelling of Saint John, NB and brother Roy (Eleanor) of Ottawa, ON and Harold (Aubrey) of Fredericton, NB along with many nieces and nephews. As per his wishes cremation has taken place and a drop-in celebration of his life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17 at the Norwood Hotel, 112 Marion Street, Winnipeg. Burial will take place at a later time in Penobsquis, NB. If desired, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. My condolences on Doug's passing! I enjoyed working with Doug on several jobs and of course in the shop as well as on both Dad and Uncle Burton's farms! Doug was a good neighbour and became a close friend since I moved next door to him in 2008. Neither of us had family in Winnipeg but we had each other. I was proud to be his friend. I will miss him. - Posted by: Erika Anseeuw (Griend) on: Jan 17, 2015
