ADRIENNE GREGOIRE At Saint Hyacinthe, QC on December 11, 2014, Sister Adrienne Gregoire passed away at the age of 96 after 78 years of religious life. Born in Lorette, MB on March 24, 1918 the daughter of Alphonse Gregoire and Laura Trudeau she was the first child of a family of seven children: five girls and four boys. To mourn her passing, she leaves her religious family, brother Jean-Baptiste (Lina Vielfaure), sister Therese (p.m.s.j.), nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by Lucienne (Marcel Emond), Josephine (Gaston Bohemier), Jean-Baptiste (three months), and Cecile (Edouard Prairie). Her funeral was held on December 16 in Les Jardins D'Aurelie.

  • I have so many fond memories of sister Adrienne. She was a very kind and caring lady with a very big heart. My sister and myself spent most of our childhood with her. I will miss her dearly.   • I was introduced to this lovely lady in October of 2013 and went to visit her again in October 2014. Regretfully, my time spent with her was very minimal however, I was blessed with the opportunity to record her partially saying "The Lord's Prayer" in Cree. I will always hear her voice and remember our first meeting. My sisters introduced us, she looked at me and said, "She is beautiful! I love her!".
