Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • I'm so sorry I was unaware of Doris's passing. My deepest condolences to Albert, Gus, Billy and families. Doris (we called her Mombo) was like a second mother. As a friend of Gus, I spent a lot of time at their home on Oakview and even some time at the farm with when I was a teenager. She was always warm and welcoming... and importantly for a teenager, she kept the fridge full! My memories of those times will never fade. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Grant King (Pseudo son) on: May 11, 2017

  • Our deepest sympathies to Albert and family. Doris shared stories about her teenage days with my mother when both lived a few miles north of Vassar. Rest in Peace. - Posted by: Beatrice Cayer (nee Klym) and family ((friends)) on: Jan 26, 2015

  • My grandmother was the most wonderful person I've ever known in my life. Always welcoming people with open arms and a heart warming smile. She is truly a one of a kind person. I will miss her deeply and always remember her kindness towards me for the rest of my life. May you rest in peace Geema. I love you with all my heart. <3 - Posted by: Melissa Turchinetz (Granddaughter ) on: Jan 21, 2015
