MELANIE SLUSARENKO-WOODS Suddenly in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 10, 2015, Melanie Slusarenko-Woods, at the side of her loving husband, began her journey home. Melanie was born in Winnipeg, MB on October 6, 1976. Her love of delicious foods led her to culinary arts program at Red River College. Her favourite thing to do was to feed everyone who walked through her door. As a mother of four daughters and two sons, Melanie enjoyed utilizing her skills in the kitchen to provide the best home cooked meals to her family. Melanie is survived by spouse Steven Woods; her children, Nakota, Taya, Tess, Ashley, Victoria and Julian. She also leaves her mother, Marianne, father Mike and her sister, Michelle along with her niece and nephew Britters and Tyler (plus numerous other nieces and nephews). She is predeceased by her daughter, Calista Avery Woods. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 19 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-956-2193
