HARRIET JANE AMOS September 23, 1931 - January 15, 2015 It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of our dearest mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Harriet Jane Amos, at the age of 83 years. Harriet leaves to mourn her seven sons, three daughters, 23 grandchildren, 52 great- grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Wake Service will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fisher River Hall in Fisher River, MB Reverend Allen Sinclair officiating. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Allen Sinclair officiating. FISHER FUNERAL HOME INC. In care of arrangements. 204-372-6271 or 204-372-6803

  • I have known Harriet since I was a child growing up on the Fisher River Cree Nation. She was always a happy, bubbly person who was always there for families in time of need. She volunteered her time at many dinner/luncheon functions whether they were for happy or sad occasions. She is truly a godsend that will be missed by her family and the community as well.
