Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRALPH GEORGE BROWN Ralph George Brown of White Rock, BC passed from this life on January 17, 2015 at the age of 88. Ralph was born on August 24, 1926 to Alexander and Mary (Zielke) Brown of Beausejour, MB, where his parents owned the Brown's Bucher Shop. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lorraine (Brown) Kalmbach. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lillian (Fuller) Brown, of White Rock, BC, sister Irene (Brown) Lott of Calgary, AB, sons Ronald (Patricia) Brown of Jackson TN, Colin (Shawn) Brown and Terry Brown of Calgary, AB and daughter Barbara Brown of Seattle, WA. Grandchildren; Richard Brown of Pasadena, CA, Nathan Brown of Detroit, MI, Anthony Brown of Nashville, TN, Kurt, Kaila and Davis Brown of Calgary, AB, eight great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ralph and Lillian moved to White Rock, BC in 1989 upon Ralph's retirement from a 39 year career with VIA Rail in Winnipeg, MB. Ralph and Lillian enjoyed their home in White Rock and travelling to a number of places in Europe, Hawaii and visiting family across Canada and the United States. Ralph and Lillian also enjoyed their church family at Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in Surrey, BC. He has now joined other family, friends and loved ones in the beautiful eternal home called Heaven. A family visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and January 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home at 14644 72 Ave. Surrey. Reception following the service.

Today, January 5, 2017, found this obituary of cousin Ralph; I was looking for him online. I am so sorry for his passing. He was an outstanding Christian, Godly husband, father and grandfather. Last time I saw him was about 15 years ago. It was a wonderful family get together at my home in Michigan. I am saddened at his passing. Love and blessings to you, Lil, the family and Irene. WE are so very sorry for Your loss. I remember wonderful childhood memories of a very kind and gentle man, who went to my mom and dad's church (Rev. Clifford and Doreen Heaslip).
