Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH MARSCH October 22, 1931 - January 14, 2015 It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ken Marsch at his home in Winnipeg on January 14, 2015. Ken was born on October 22, 1931 in Morris, Manitoba and lived and worked in Winnipeg all of his adult life. Ken was predeceased by his parents, brothers Bob, Don, George, Harold, Lorenz and Wilfred, and sisters Eleanor, Gertrude and Judy. Ken was also predeceased by his best friend Allan Anderson, and good friends Bertha and Ruth. He is survived by his brother Walter (Wilma), sisters-in-law Gwen, Madeline, Isobel and Marjorie, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his close friends, Alan's nieces, Judy, Lois and Elaine and their families of Kenora, Ontario. Throughout his life, Ken always enjoyed travelling and in his later years, looked forward to the many vacations he took with "the girls" to the casinos in the northern United States, whether it was a bus trip or by car. These trips were always a good time, full of laughter and great memories. Ken moved to Sturgeon Creek II in November 2013 and always enjoyed the card, shuffleboard and bingo games played with his new friends. We would like to thank the staff at Sturgeon Creek for the care and friendship provided to Ken over the past 14 months. He was forever singing your praises. As per Ken's wishes, immediate cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held in Kenora at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one's choice. Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Kenora entrusted with arrangements.
