DR. LEON MICHAELS Leon Michaels died peacefully on January 21, 2015, after a long life well lived. He was the loved and loving husband of Joan, father of John (Karen) and Sarah and grandfather of Jamie, Yale and Alex. May his memory be blessed. Funeral at congregation Shaarey Zedek on January 23, 2015, 1:30 p.m.

  • Dr. Michaels was my physician for forty years - we joked about my being his longest-standing patient. I can certainly attribute the good health I've enjoyed over those years to his care and concern. What I liked most about him as a physician was that he never "sugar-coated" anything - just told things as they were.
