MARJORIE IRENE BREMNER Marjorie Irene Bremner (McCulloch) (née Labelle) July 28, 1922 - January 18, 2015. At the age of 92, Marjorie passed away peacefully with family by her side. Marjorie will be missed by her beloved companion of fourteen years and close friend Bob Chapman, her daughter and long time caregiver Wendy Sutton, her son Warren McCulloch (Gayle), and grandchildren Tony, John and Jeff, and great-grandchildren Corbin, Brooke, Jordyn, Adelaide, and Juliet all of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents John and Laura Labelle, her brother Jack, husband John McCulloch (1965), and husband Ernie Bremner (2010). Marjorie was born in Brandon, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg in 1944. Marj and Johnny raised their family in St. James spending summers at Grand Beach and many happy hours at Assiniboine Park. Over the years she was involved in the Deer Lodge community, curling, playing bridge and volunteering. She was an active member of the Deer Lodge United Church and later Sturgeon Creek United Church. She had a rewarding career at Air Canada and served as president of the Women's Ad and Sales Club. Marjorie loved to golf both at home and during winter vacations in Arizona. She was a member of the Wildewood Club for many years. She loved to travel and her grandchildren have fond memories of trips to Disney World, Tucson, and, of course, ice cream. We wish to thank Tuxedo Villa Care Home staff for taking good care of our mother during the past four years. A private family graveside service will be held in advance of a memorial church service to be announced in the spring of 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marjorie's name to the Assiniboine Park Conservancy or a charity of choice.
