MAE ZOOKE (SMALL) January 20, 1923 - January 19, 2015 Suddenly but peacefully our Mom, Gramma and Nana passed away in her sleep. She was predeceased by her loving husband Mitch who passed away April 13, 2008. Mom was born at home to Helen and Albert Small. In her earlier years she worked at Grace Hospital for 25 years. Mom liked to bowl and visit at the Army and Navy for their various functions. She was a fabulous cook and loved to bake. She also enjoyed going to the casinos and loved dogs. She always said she had the best husband ever and now she will be with him once again. She had resided at Lion's Personal Care Home since June 2013. We would like to thank all staff who cared for her every day. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Elaine (Ray), Brenda, Carol (Bert), grandchildren Ryan (Michelle), Kyle (Jen), Chelsey (Jeff), Michael (Kim) and great-grandchildren Cody, Jaeda, Avery, Jorja, Cruz, Luxton, Henley and Malone. A private family service will be held. Please no flowers but if you would like to make a donation you can make one to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Humane Society. Sadly Missed and never Forgotten Love Your Family

Sorry to learn of the passing of your dear Mom who was a very nice lady and always very friendly. Many years ago I did some babysitting for your Mom and Dad when we all lived on Ross Avenue in Weston. I remember the days that your Mom (Mae) and your Dad ( Mitch ) came to visit with my parents for the evening .. Sylvia and Ralph, and Thelma and George .. There was another couple too but I recall their names.. They had lots of fun as a group visiting and catching up on the latest .. Your mom and dad were very nice people.. My dad passed away in 1988 and my mom January 1, 2015. Your mom and dad will catch up with friends in heaven as this did when they were.. Mae was a wonderful woman, whenever you were around her she was always sure to ask how you were and how things were going for you and your family. She really wanted to know.
