HERBERT KONIG September 27, 1934 - January 18, 2015 It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Herbert König on January 18, 2015. He leaves to mourn daughters Yvonne König (Hartley) and Karen Lavallee (Warren); grandchildren Bailey and Callie Lavallee; sisters Ilse Tittiger and Erika Koenig-Sheridan of Ottawa, ON; brothers Harold (Gail) of London, ON, and Ernest (Dini). He was predeceased by his parents Karl and Lena, and sister Ursula Pattern. Herbert was born in Poland in 1934. He immigrated to Canada with his family in the 50s, and married Monika Philipp in 1958. He worked as a welder with Empire Ironworks for a number of years before eventually opening Corydon Clock Repair which he ran for many years. We wish to thank the staff at Middlechurch Home for their compassion; they are truly wonderful people. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

My Condolences to the family on your loss. I always enjoyed the time I spent talking with Herb at the clock shop. He always had a few stories to tell me & we always had a good laugh. God Bless Herb you are at peace now. - Posted by: Shawn Johnston (Friend/Fellow Colleague) on: Jan 27, 2015
