DARREL NICHOLAS KRUT June 21, 1950 - January 26, 2015 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darrel Krut at the age of 64. He is survived by his wife Valerie; his son Chad (Kendall); daughter Bridget (Jarrod); his five beautiful grandchildren, Davis, Carys, Dexter, Cali and Maddison; his sisters Joannie (Gerry), Debbie (Lorne); brother-in-law Gary (Darlene); mother-in-law Mary, and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Stan and Kay Krut, and father-in-law John Chizick. Darrel worked at MRM/Gerdeau Ameristeel for 36 years as a Supervisor in the Stores and Shipping Departments. Darrel was known for his morning drives around town, his infamous laugh and enjoying an OV beer in the garage. Darrel enjoyed golfing, gardening, classic cars and spending time with family and friends. He not only spoiled his grandchildren but his granddogs Roxy and Scooter. The family would like to thank the staff at the Selkirk General Hospital, Beausejour Health Centre and the Health Sciences Centre.
