Paul was the first radio guy I met when I started in Brandon - a big biker sitting in near darkness with the tunes cranked! Never has the phrase don't judge a book by its cover been more appropriate. He was a big hearted guy for sure. I also reunited with him in Fort Frances working on the morning show together - great memories! Ride on brother - may the tunes never stop and the road never end! - Posted by: Brent Cooper () on: Feb 05, 2015

Paul had a great sense of humor and a love for animals. He was a great guy to work with. Once in a while, he would make pancakes for everyone in the morning. Everyone enjoyed his many pancakes! We know he loved to ride his Harley when he could. Keep on riding Paul! He will be truly missed. From your buddies at Olympic Building Centre. - Posted by: Rudi Kehler (Co-worker) on: Jan 28, 2015

Paul was a great, great man. He devoted his life to his wife and his best friends (all his dogs) and was a kind hearted, quiet old soul. He will be greatly missed by the Heyens family. Until we meet again friend. - Posted by: Crystal Heyens (friend) on: Jan 28, 2015
