LORENZA LAVARIAS June 5, 1929 - January 27, 2015 With her family by her side, Lorenza Lavarias passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks General Hospital on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the age of 85. She will be greatly missed by her children, Jovita (Agustin) Manalo, Teresita (Manuel) Vicente, Julia (Jaime) Vendivil, Bernabe (Elvie) Lavarias, Remigia (Virgilio) Castro, Rosa (Peter) Castro, Lorna (Jojo) Onio, Leticia (Sonny) Villanueva, Sonny (Rowena) Lavarias, and Imelda (Arnel) Bonzon, siblings, Rosalina Castro and Manuel Manzon, 30 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Evaristo in 1995. Our mother was a kind, easy-going and gentle woman who always had a smile for everyone. She was the centre of our lives and was open with her love and affection. She instilled in us the importance of family and helping those in need. She always cared about the well-being of others before her own. She lived a full life and travelled to many places. She was greatly loved by her family and she will be deeply missed. We would like to thank the home care and medical staff at Seven Oaks Hospital. Viewing/Lamay will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2015 and Monday, February 2, 2015 commencing at 6:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street, Winnipeg, MB. Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. and reception will follow at Mosaic Reception Centre, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Nay, hindi ko alam kung paano kita pasasalamatan sa lahat ng binigay mo sa akin, sa mga anak ko at sa mga apo mo na napag-aral mo. Hindi na kami makakapag paalam sayo ng maayos dahil andito kami sa pilipinas. Kung saan ka man naroon ngayon nanay sana masaya kana.
