Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN BOYKO July 6, 1919 - January 22, 2015 On Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home, John passed away peacefully at the age of 95. He was born on July 6, 1919 in the district of Calder, SK. Later the family moved to Shell Valley, MB. He married Doris Bewcyk on November 14, 1944 and resided in Roblin, MB for the next 50 years. Together they raised three children, Debbie, Derrick, and Beverly. He worked as a mechanic for a local garage before being employed by the Roblin School Division. After his retirement, in 1995 they moved to Killarney, MB. In 2005, when their health warranted more care, they relocated to Winnipeg. For over 68 years he was associated with various congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses. His love for his Creator and for people moved him to spend much time encouraging others to consider the Bible's promises for the future, including seeing our loved ones resurrected to life on a paradise earth. He is survived by his younger sister, Mary Yaworsky; his three children, Debbie (Dee-predeceased February 2011), Derrick (Patricia), Beverly (Wayne); four grandchildren, Aaron (Adrienne), Jarett (Tryphaena), Brandi, Dustin (Jordyn); and four great-grandchildren, Skylar and Shelby-Lee, Spencer, and Bella, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Doris in May of 2008. At this time we would like to thank the staff of Tuxedo Villa, Station-1, and Dr. Moran de Muller for their kind care of John during the past few years and the support given to the family. His Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1877 Inkster Blvd.
