KENNETH ALLAN DELF June 7, 1934 - February 3, 2015 Peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 Ken passed away at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 82 years. He will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend of 60 years, Rosemary, his children Greg and Doug, three grandchildren Michel (Kristi) Meilleur and Blaine and Brittany Delf and two great-grandchildren Alex and Athena. Ken is also survived by his sister Muriel (Gordon) Seddon, brother Gordon Delf, sister-in-law Val Delf and many nieces and nephews. Ken worked for many years as a General Manager at CAA before finishing his career at McPhail Travel. Ken enjoyed his retired years travelling with Rosemary to Texas, Osoyoos and going to the cottage and spending time with family and friends in Pinawa Bay. Ken loved playing a good game of cards with friends; he will be forever remembered for his sense of humour, great love of family and the ability to make you smile. The family would like to thank the staff of GD4 at Health Sciences Centre for their care, especially in Ken's final days. In keeping with Ken's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Drive. Dear Rosemary, Greg and Doug, Our deepest sympathy to you all from the "Heggie" girls; Phem, Jean, Barbara, Kathleen, Christine and Annie (Frontenac Bay neighbours). We were so sorry to hear of Ken's passing, all the older Heggie girls remember babysitting for the family when we were growing up on Frontenac Bay. The girls tell me it was one of their easiest babysitting jobs and for such a nice couple it was always a pleasure. The love and fond memories you have of Ken will live on in your hearts forever. Sincerely, The Heggie Girls - Posted by: Ann Peckham (nee Heggie) (Neighbour ) on: Feb 11, 2015
