Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN FRANCES NAUGLER (nee PIPER) Peacefully, with family by her side, on Saturday, January 31, 2015 Kay passed away at the age of 89. Kay was predeceased by her husband Everett. Left to cherish her memory are her three children Carol (Henry), Beverley (Dan), and Rodney (Belinda); her seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Kathleen was born on August 17, 1925 in Tunbridge, England. Kay was a member of the British Land Army during the Second World War. She met the love of her life, Everett, while he was serving his country. They married in England in 1945 before she immigrated to Canada to live her life in the Winnipeg area, raising their three children. Kay later retired to Falcon Lake with her husband where they spent many happy years. Life later took them to Gimli where they lovingly lived out their lives. Kay, her guidance, her love of life and her sense of humour will be sadly missed but always remembered. The family would like to thank the staff of the Betel Personal Care Home in Gimli, for their professional service, compassion and care. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 in the Johnson Memorial Hall, at the Waterfront Centre, Gimli, MB at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kay's memory to Betel Personal Care Home, Gimli. I will always remember Auntie Kit. Even with the miles between us. I have many happy memories of both uncle Everett and auntie Kit. Here in England and in Canada and I Will treasure forever.
