PIERRE COURCELLES 1930 - 2015 With immense sorrow we announce the passing of our loving father, grandfather, and partner on February 11, 2015, at the age of 85. Pierre leaves to mourn his daughter Colette (Dennis), son Emile (Janet), daughter Julie (René); his loving partner Denise, as well as his granddaughters Nicole and Diane. Pierre leaves to mourn his family: Emmanuel (Yvette), Edmond (Thérèse), Léo (Louise), Rita (Etienne); his in-laws Jeannine Courcelles, Ovide (Jeannette) and Robert (Marie), many nephews, nieces and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Lucille (2008), son Luc (2011), and brother Albert (2014). Pierre was born in the municipality of de Salaberry on February 6, 1930. To help the family he started to work for neighbours at a very early age. This helped to form a solid work ethic which he kept to the end of his life. In 1955, he married his loving wife Lucille and was married for 53 years. The Courcelles Bros. got together in 1965 and bought the Case IH dealership, which prospered for 40 years before the family retired in 2005. He was a mechanic by trade and was always dedicated and polite to a fault to all his customers. In his earlier years he played guitar and accordion in the Courcelles old time music band. He and Lucille travelled to Paris, France and to many parts of the USA and Canada. He was always ready to travel somewhere at the drop of a hat. It was his enjoyable pastime. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 17 at 4:00 p.m. in the Ste. Agathe Roman Catholic Church.
