Although I haven't seen her in many years, I remember every family gathering when I was young with Aunt Carole by Uncle Roger's side filled with endless laughter. It didn't matter if it was a crazy baseball game among the cousins, a family trip to Point Pelee, or a small gathering at their home in Winnipeg, her presence couldn't be missed. I'm so sorry you never got to meet your great-nephews, but one day we'll all meet again. - Posted by: Michelle, Julian, & Jeremy Blye and Steven De Lyser (Niece & Fiance', Great Nephews) on: Feb 19, 2015

I only have childhood memories of my Aunt Carole as our family began to disperse decades ago. Yet she was always at all those family gatherings by my Uncle Roger's side so many years ago where I remember her filled with ceaseless heartfelt laughter. Her passing this week brought all those memories back; of crazy baseball games, a trip to Point Pelee with John & Tim along, the "bread truck" that became their first RV for their adventures throughout Canada and the US, and as a young teen being in awe at the most beautiful table set for a small family dinner. (I've been collecting piece by piece for over 30 years those same dishes that I never forgot.) Time passed, I moved even farther away, .... I missed getting to know you once I grew up from being that spoiled little brat and into a mom myself (that and finally getting it right with Steven). My boys never got to meet their great aunt, but those memories from so long ago are now fresh in my mind to share with them; to allow your memory to live on in their hearts. Aunt Carole, you are loved, and will be missed. - Posted by: Michelle, Steven, Julian, & Jeremy (Niece) on: Feb 19, 2015

Aunt Carole was funny with a baudy sense of humor. I first met her when I was 5 years old and she was marrying Uncle Roger. She was so devoted to him and her family. She was my favorite. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Lyn Bruner (niece) on: Feb 18, 2015
