• Just a around Christmas 🎄 time was my last time me (Linda) and my mom talked to Teresa. I remember her telling me I hope Santa brings me everything I want and was always in a joyous mood regardless of her pain. She was such a fighter and held on for so long. She was an amazing women. • We are so deeply saddened to hear of Teresa's passing. I personally did not have the pleasure of knowing her, however my parents Pino and Rosa so often spoke of the courageous Teresa Vassallo and how strong and determined she was to live her life as she always had. I have been following Teresa's story for 20 years, and I don't think anyone has ever fought harder than this brave and dignified woman. • I met Teresa when I was younger, she was a very special person. Over the years we lost touch but I knew of her suffering and was very impressed by her strength in fighting this terrible disease. • I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to Giovanni, Francesca & Francesco on the passing of our dear friend Teresa. It's difficult to find appropriate words to express our profound sadness over such a beautiful, amazing, & courageous person such as Teresa. Just over 3 years ago, she reached out to my daughter Franca who was terminally ill, and the two connected very well. I hope so much that the two have now reconnected in the Lord in Heaven. You grieving guys must now focus on what Teresa was and the wonderful legacy she leaves you with. She will die only if you forget her (which I'm sure will never happen, she will live as long as she remains in your (and our) heart. Celebrate what she was, not what she no longer is.
