WILSON ROBERT HOLLAND Wilson passed away on February 15, 2015 at the Victoria General Hospital after a short illness. Wilson was born on October 13, 1931, in Harvey, York, County, New Brunswick. He will be fondly remembered by his brother Gordon; his brother-in-law Clarence Carney; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends Charles Brown, the Brown family and Don Kelly. He was predeceased by his parents Virginia and William Holland; his sister Joan Carney; and sister-in-law Sandra Holland. Wilson worked for many years at the former Ashdown Hardware Company and more recently for the St. James School Division. He enjoyed his daily walk and visits with friends, trips to Hawaii and the southern USA and stays in the Whiteshell, especially Star Lake. A graveside service conducted by Rev. Teresa Moysey, Harrow United Church, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be forwarded to Harrow United Church, 955 Mulvey Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3M 1G8.
