JOHANNA ZIEGLER It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Johanna Ziegler on February 15, 2015 at the Health Sciences Centre after a brief illness with cancer. Johanna was predeceased by her husband Kurt (2013). She will be deeply missed by her children, Andrew, David and Catharine, as well as her grandchildren, Andrew (Jamie), Jennifer (Andrew), Alexandra (Jamie), Christopher and Brett, and her sister Theresa. Johanna worked at the University of Manitoba, retiring in 1995. She belonged to the German Society of Winnipeg and the German Congress. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time in her garden. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre. At her request, Johanna will be cremated and there will be no formal service. In her memory a donation in lieu of flowers may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

I remember how much my mother (Theresia Romanchyshyn) admired your mother and sought her advice often through-out her life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
