• Freeman was an amazingly gentle, kind and thoughtful man who cared greatly for his community. He will be greatly missed by anyone who had the pleasure of walking with him. • Freeman was a gifted, kind, and generous man. I knew him through the At Home/Chez Soi National Consumer Panel, where he was a valued member who contributed excellent work. He was a skilled writer and presenter, and I recall preparing a PowerPoint about the NCP that included a photo of Freeman at a conference, engaged in knowledge exchange with Lloyd Robertson. He was dedicated to helping people, to sharing knowledge, and to making people smile. He will be missed. • I was Freeman's friend and colleague for about five years. In all that time I never heard him say a disparaging word, or speak unkindly. He was a dear sweet man, always ready to talk, always willing to listen. Bottom line: He was a good man and will be sorely missed by myself and others.
