Freeman was a gifted, kind, and generous man. I knew him through the At Home/Chez Soi National Consumer Panel, where he was a valued member who contributed excellent work. He was a skilled writer and presenter, and I recall preparing a PowerPoint about the NCP that included a photo of Freeman at a conference, engaged in knowledge exchange with Lloyd Robertson. He was dedicated to helping people, to sharing knowledge, and to making people smile. He will be missed. My condolences to all who knew him. - Posted by: Sandra Dawson (Friend and Colleague) on: Feb 27, 2015

I was Freeman's friend and colleague for about five years. In all that time I never heard him say a disparaging word, or speak unkindly. He was a dear sweet man, always ready to talk, always willing to listen. Bottom line: He was a good man and will be sorely missed by myself and others. Condolences to his family. - Posted by: Joe Hatch (Friend) on: Feb 25, 2015

Kind and gentle man. Always so respectful. We would take turns treating each other for lunch so we could visit and catch up. Prayers, kind and gentle thoughts to his family and close friends. - Posted by: Wendy M (Friend and lunch partner) on: Feb 24, 2015

I knew Freeman for many years and he was mostly smiling; working on some project that would, in the end, make life better for his community clients; gonna miss him at United Way, ARC meetings. - Posted by: Ron Richard (Friends) on: Feb 24, 2015
