Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD THIESSEN June 25, 1934 - February 26, 2015 Surrounded by family, Ed passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. Ed will be lovingly remembered by his wife Luella, sons Darwin (Andrea) and Jeff (Brenda), his grandchildren Hannah and Caleb, sister Edna Stangl and by extended family and close friends. Ed was predeceased by his brother Herman, and his parents Abe and Tina. The family extends its gratitude to the staff in the St. Boniface Emergency Department, and on 5E. Their capable and compassionate care eased a difficult time. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Viewing will take place at Cropo on Monday, March 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A private family burial will take place prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ed's memory to Agape Table. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

My late husband, Henry was quite familiar with Eddie when they were young men in the Kronsweide district. Over the years he and I visited with Eddie and Luella and we got to know each other.
