The sound of her laugh always brought a smile to my face. From hundreds of miles away I had the opportunity to hear that and once again smile. I had been told that her health had been failing but I know from her voice she was the same vibrant lady I knew all my life. I am not sure how frail she was when she passed but in my mind I will always remember her as the amazing strong lady. A lady who has had more experienced tragedy than one person should endure and over came the worst odds to become a great person. Rest in peace and I will never forget my last call and how we laughed together. - Posted by: Jeff Sydorchuk (Nephew) on: Mar 14, 2015

I was so sad to hear of Aunty Jackie's passing. What a great lady. I remember as a kid thinking she was the coolest mom. We spent most of our childhood with the Cooneys. Growing up together. Hundreds of weekend visits and time spent out at the lake together. They are my best memories. Our condolences, from our family to yours, our thoughts are with you all. What a happy reunion she is having now in heaven. Tina and Gil Law and family. - Posted by: Tina Fedorowich (Niece) on: Mar 08, 2015

Mrs. Cooney will be missed by all who knew her. She treated me like family whenever we talked. She'd give me heck or praise me and seemed to know when I needed it.( Things a mom did). She was a fantastic cook and her comfort foods were like hugs. How lucky her children were to have her as their mom and how sad that they have lost her. My deepest condolences. - Posted by: Patricia Picklyk () on: Mar 07, 2015
