MARIE COSTELLO It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of an amazing woman and Mother, our Nanny, Marie Costello. She was born on April 27, 1924 to Moses and Jessie Wall, of Clearwater, MB. We were very blessed to have had her for 90 years. Marie spent her early years on the family farm and attended Cypress School. She married the love of her life, Robert Costello, on December 22, 1953 and they made their home in Winnipeg, MB. She enjoyed her family, friends, relatives and neighbours. Marie was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her unselfishness, her kindness, and her compassion for others. Marie enjoyed her camping years at Wildwood Park in Winnipeg Beach and the family trips to Prince Edward Island to visit Bob's family. Marie had quite the talent for knitting and especially enjoyed knitting for her grandsons. She is survived by her only son Gerald, her daughter-in-law Amanda, and her two grandsons, Kyle and Bradley. She was predeceased by her husband Robert, her sister and brother-in-law, Eva and Jack Mooney and her brother Edgar Wall. We would like to thank the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for taking such excellent care of Marie during the time she lived there, and also thank you to the doctors and nurses from 3 East at Concordia Hospital for keeping Marie comfortable during her final hours. Hi Amanda and Gerald. So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Hugs and prayers for you and your family's healing. Always thinking of you guys. Amanda was such a great person to work alongside. Gerald you would always come and get your lunch from Amanda. No matter what was going on during the day you always had a smile on your face. Your mom sounds like an awesome lady.
