A friend, hard to find and sometimes a great friend, always there, always happy always ready to listen and give advice. There were three of us John, Dale and Troy, the three Musketeers you might say. Roaming the streets at all times of the night just hanging, laughing and playing like a bunch of kids. We fought beside each other, we hung out, talked, joked and drove cars and motorcycles to fast. Always a proud family boy that would take the shirt off his back for anyone in need. I loved to hang with Dale, arcades, at the bike shop, out at the parks and dreaming of the future. Moved to Vancouver late in life and did not keep in touch so its amazing to hear that he is gone, to early in my books. Hope Dale is off on another crazy cruise enjoying the open road. Will be missed and not forgotten by all who he knew. - Posted by: Troy Plexman (Teenage Friend) on: Dec 01, 2022

Our families were friends from the time we were quite young. My memories of Dale also included his Mom and his Dad. We had lots of good times as kids. When our paths crossed again it was at HSC unfortunately. I hope I was successful in helping you make your journey through your illness as comfortable and peaceful as it could be. I believe it was. You were brave and courageous until the time came to be re-united with your Mom and your Dad. You are in a much better place, free from pain in a very unforgiving world. You have left great memories for all to enjoy and hold close to our hearts. I will forever miss being called by my correct name instead of one of my sisters. - Posted by: Wendy Petrushak (Friend of the family) on: Mar 18, 2015

Condolences to Dale's family and friends. We knew Dale as a neighbour, friend and part-time worker in our bee keeping business. Always with a kind heart Dale was devoted to his mother Eileen as well as their pets and ours - both dogs and cats. His hearty laugh and sense of humour will be missed but still heard in our memories of him. Rest in peace Dale. We'll remember you. We were saddened to hear of Dale's passing. We have been neighbors with him and his mom Eileen for many years. Our kids grew up calling him Mr Dale, which he always got a kick out of. Dale is once again with his beloved mom and we wish him peace. You will suffer no more Dale. Thanks to Ken for all that he did to ease Dale's mind while he fought his battle.
