MARIE ELAINE DALMAN On March 3, 2015, Marie Dalman passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 86 years. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Teri Beaubien (Gerry) and Brenda Werbicki; her grandchildren Courtney Beaubien (Patrick), Ryan Beaubien (Tamara) and Corey Werbicki (Sarah); and by her cousin George Ostap (Elsie). She was predeceased by her parents Dmytro and Elsie Ostapowich, and her sister Kathleen. Over the years, Marie loved all her many Furry Friends. She enjoyed living in various parts of the United States and always kept a special remembrance of her time in Australia. She was a devoted viewer of "The Young and the Restless" and nothing made her happier than discussing the shenanigans of Victor, Jack and Nikki. Her pastimes of quietly reading books, magazines and newspapers contrasted with the blaring moments of country music that echoed throughout her home. Christmas was a happy holiday for Marie when she was busy with shopping and baking her famous butter tarts and thimble cookies. She will be fondly remembered for her keen sense of humour, cheerful spirit and generosity. In keeping with Marie's wishes, there will be no service. The family extends its sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Oakview Place for their wonderful care throughout her stay. Though you are gone, in our hearts you will always remain.
