VIRGINIA JOAN FARDOE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother and grandmother, Virginia Joan Fardoe, on March 10, 2015. Virginia left this life very peacefully, to be with her Lord and Saviour knowing her family was by her side during her final days. She will be lovingly remembered, and memories will be cherished and honoured, by her loving husband Robert Fardoe; children Ted (Joanne), Heather (Dan), and Kenneth (Marnie); and grandchildren Alanna, Graeme, Emily, Maris, Matthew and Carlie. Virginia was predeceased by her parents Fred and Freda Busch and her brothers Mark and Fred Jr. Virginia was born in Winnipeg on March 1, 1938. Mom married Dad in 1957 and they began their lives together. Virginia was a devoted, loving, wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was everything to her. She was filled with tremendous joy and blessed all those who crossed her path. A celebration of Virginia's life will take place on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. The family expresses their sincere gratitude to Noelle Tayfel (Mom's caregiver and friend); the staff at the Health Science Centre, St. Boniface Hospital, The Shaftbury Retirement Home and the Palliative Care Unit 3 East at the Riverview Hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends and family so desire, donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation at 452 Dovercourt Drive, Winnipeg, MB, R3Y 1G4. The lord was our Mother's shepherd. • Hes, Ted and Ken, it is a lifetime ago since your mom and dad welcomed me to your home back in high school. I vividly remember your maternal grandparents Freda and Fred, in particular his beautiful gardens. I shall always treasure the times spent together with your family, Virginia's delicious meals and many Christmas celebrations with Jenny. Bob I hope that you can find comfort knowing that your beautiful and loving wife is at peace. What I keep close to my heart are Virginia's gentle nature, her soft spokeness, her wit and sense of humour, and her pixie smile.
