DANIEL NORMAN GOMIEN December 13, 1941 - March 13, 2015 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danny Gomien at Deer Lodge Center on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the age of 73 years. Danny will always be missed and lovingly remembered by his love Bonnie; children Monica Kurtz (Nathan), Darren Gomien (Jennifer), Sheila Garand, Lila Goolia (Hans), Lisa Parham (John); and his grandchildren Candice, Tyler, Kaylee, Dahla, Daniel, Justin, Ivy and Raven and great-grandchild Xander. Danny will also be missed by his brothers and sisters, Karl (Karen), Sharon (Stan), Pearl (Stan), Brad, Bubby (Linda), Darlene, Barbara, David, Phillip; sister-in-law Karen Gomien, and his Auntie Eva along with many special nieces and nephews, all of which have fond memories. He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Louise, brothers Rick and Claude, his beloved grand-mère, brother-in-law Ernie and sister-in-law Evelyn. Danny will be remembered by his family and friends for his love of hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. He loved his job as a long distance truck driver and telling us all about the places he had been. He was always willing and eager to help out when someone needed him whether it was as simple as giving you a ride or helping out with renovations, he was always there for you. Dad we have been missing you for a long time, You will always be in our hearts and our thoughts, We love you. The family would like to thank the staff of Deer Lodge Centre for their care and compassion for our dear father. In keeping with Danny's wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. It was a long hard fight and now it's time to rest.
