Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • I am so saddened to hear of his passing so late after his death I would have attended. I was Gary's grad date and I have to say I had a wonderful time we had dinner at a German Restaurant and went to a club on Des Meurons afterwards. It was a lovely time. - Posted by: Sandra Lafontaine (Friend) on: Nov 03, 2015

  • Gary was a fixture at Windsor Park games and all our rival schools were jealous, I'm sure. We could hardly wait for his cheer so we could all go crazy. I will never forget "LET'S GO WINDSOR!". Thank you Gary for the great memories. - Posted by: Maureen Horaska (Rumsey) (WPC alumni) on: Mar 21, 2015

  • Sad news indeed. Gary was a constant supporter at our high school sporting events. Who can forget the big drum he carried to the home games? Believe there is photo somewhere in a WPC yearbook. Condolences to the families and friends of our Gentle Giant. - Posted by: Michelle Isaac (WPC school friend) on: Mar 18, 2015

  • Rest in peace Gary. Remember growing up with you and Denis on Jogues Road in Windsor Park. We went to Bomber games in the quarterback Club in the end zone as kids in the 60's. From there you were leading the cheers through high school sports, hockey, Jets games, Bomber games. You were a number one supporter of all teams. A gentle man is correct. Peace be with you my friend. Prayers and thoughts with your family and friends. - Posted by: Bob Shaver (friend) on: Mar 17, 2015
