Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES PARKES December 29, 1946 March 28, 2015 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Arlington James Parkes (Jamie) on Saturday, March 28, 2015 with his family by his side. Jamie was predeceased by his grandparents Lawrence and Clementina Parkes; son Daniel (Boone). Jamie leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Cherie (nee Donald); son Jamie (Lindsy); mother Helen; brothers Larry, Mike, Dan (Corrine) and Roger; sisters Pat, Penny (Ben) and Jackie (Jeff). His pride and joy were his grandchildren Sammy and Colton and great-granddaughter Danielle. Jamie worked at several jobs throughout his life but his most memorable were at Manitoba Rolling Mills, Red River Brick and Tile, R.V.I. and Behavioural Health Foundation until his retirement. Jamie loved his fishing and especially hunting which he enjoyed with his sons, grandson and friend Wayde. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service as per his request. Our family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Bhanot and the nursing staff on the Medical Unit at the Selkirk and District General Hospital.
