Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in Saint John XXIII Parish, 3390 Portage Avenue. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. also at Saint John XXIII Parish. A longer obituary will follow. E.J. COUTU & CO. So sorry to hear of Marcella's passing. She was a great lady and lots of fun. I always remember going to the Rootsaert's house just outside the perimeter .A great couple and you were always welcome in their home. My condolences to all the family you have lost a wonderful mom, grandma and friend. My Mother, Yvonne, is so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mother. They had not seen each other in years. The last occasion may have been a birthday celebration for your Mother? They were the same age so mobility &distances made visits impossible. Over the last few years they lost telephone contact. But Mom still spoke of your Mom...just last week as a matter of fact! She is back in the old neighborhood at Seven Oaks Hospital and spoke about your Mom, the farm & where all of you are living....Edmonton, San Francisco, Teulon, & Winnipeg. Yvonne has fond memories of your Mom & sends her heartfelt condolences to all the family. Her thoughts &prayers are with you. Unfortunately she won't be able to be with you to celebrate your Mom's life as she is recovering from a broken hip.
